Here is how you can login to Windows if you don't know who the administrator is and you haven't modified your basic settings. This can also be used to login if you forgot your password and can't log in to your PC anymore.

Steps:

1. Reboot your computer.
2. Press Ctrl alt delete twice at the Welcome screen.
3. Wait for the alternative login screen to appear.
4. Type Administrator in the user name field.
5. If you have never created an administrator password, leave the password field blank. If not enter your password.
6. Click return and try to log in.

Tips:

• This only works if the password for the administrator account has not been set.
• This will only work if you are running Windows XP Professional Edition or Windows XP Home Edition.
