Posted by *ΜΘŠŤ ŴÃŇŦ€Ď ĦÃČКЄŘ*

Have you ever, EVER wanted to use your dear ol' laptop or desktop at someone's house? Well, thanks to XP's technolegy, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Steps:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Press Start/Accessories
  3. Find Remote Desktop Connection
  4. Type in the name of your computer after finding it and clicking on it (duh!)
  5. You will now be prompt to enter a User Name and a password. The user name is the name of your account and the password is the password you type in to log-in to your account.
  6. Ta-da! Your are now on the desktop or laptop you chose!

Tips:

  • Do not do this on a Vista computer.
  • Make sure you are on the right network.
  • It is best to ask for permission before you get on someone else's computer.
  • You can do this at home to access your work computer.
  • Your computer must be on the same network your work or friend's computer is on.
  • Your account must have password, or else it won't work.
