Have you ever, EVER wanted to use your dear ol' laptop or desktop at someone's house? Well, thanks to XP's technolegy, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Press Start/Accessories
- Find Remote Desktop Connection
- Type in the name of your computer after finding it and clicking on it (duh!)
- You will now be prompt to enter a User Name and a password. The user name is the name of your account and the password is the password you type in to log-in to your account.
- Ta-da! Your are now on the desktop or laptop you chose!
Tips:
- Do not do this on a Vista computer.
- Make sure you are on the right network.
- It is best to ask for permission before you get on someone else's computer.
- You can do this at home to access your work computer.
- Your computer must be on the same network your work or friend's computer is on.
- Your account must have password, or else it won't work.
